Principal's Indigenous Boarding (means-tested)
At MLC we have a strong commitment to diversity. We value developing intercultural understanding through our local, international and Indigenous community links.
Our Indigenous scholarships have a proud history at MLC and are offered on an annual basis. We envision this offering as mutually beneficial by learning about, learning from, and learning with Indigenous people. We recognise that our Indigenous students often play a key role in increasing this intercultural understanding across all aspects of the College.
Awarded to Indigenous students who can demonstrate a concern for the broader community, a connection to their cultural heritage, their leadership abilities, a commitment to their academic studies whose personal financial circumstances would prevent them from attending the College. Additionally, the student has a wide range of interests and talents and possesses a readiness to actively participate, engage and contribute as a member of the MLC community.
MLC partners with a number of organisations and schools that support indigenous students, including MITS, the Melbourne Indigenous Transition School, Yalari and Worawa. In addition, MLC welcomes applications from individuals, who fulfil the criteria below.
