This week's Mindful Activity from the Boarding House is Meditation.
 
Meditation is the process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts. It has many benefits including: improved sleep, enhanced self-awareness, reduction of stress/anxiety and improved mood. As little as 10-20 mins of meditation a day can dramatically improve your emotional/mental wellbeing!
 

In preparation for this activity, you will need to:

  • Find a quiet space - perhaps outside in the garden or in your bedroom.
  • Find a comfy chair or cushion to sit on, you may even want to lay down.
  • Bring an open mind.
