Congratulations to the eight MLC students from the Class of 2016 who were today awarded twelve Premier’s VCE Awards. These prestigious awards recognise students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).

At a ceremony held at the Crown Palladium today, the award recognises the top achievers in each VCE subject across Victoria, with eligible students having to achieve a study score of 46 or higher. The All-Round High Achievers Award also recognises excellence in five VCE subjects. Congratulations to Michelle Chen and Michelle Xin for being two of only 25 Victorian students to receive this prestigious award.

To have eight Old Collegians as recipients from a single year level is outstanding and even more impressive is that MLC was represented across such a broad range of disciplines.

We also recognise and thank the tireless work of our dedicated teachers, whose support and guidance of their students’ learning is invaluable.

Congratulations to these impressive young women on their accomplishments!
