Did you know: MLC's College Art collection consists of over 200 artworks by prominent artists!

The collection is a highly valued resource which we use not only to support learning in the Art and Design curriculum, but also in areas such as English and Literature. For example, our Year 11 IB English A students use these works to learn how to read 'artfully' and transfer this reading practice to their literature studies.

This year, a new initiative involves 23 students and staff who have created their own artwork that respond to the exhibited works in the Collection.

The whole MLC community are invited to the exhibition opening on Monday, 4 March at 7 pm, and hear from the contributing students.

The exhibition is available to view from 15 February until 24 April in the Common Grounds exhibition space, in the Principal's Admin corridor. Thank you to our 2019 Art and Design Prefect, Clem McNabb, for leading this new initiative!
