Swimming Success
MLC Aquatic swimmers took part in the National Age and Open Swimming Championships in Adelaide over the holidays.

The club finished in 4th place overall, up from 6th last year, and are now the 2nd school based club in Australia.

There were 17 medals won; two swimmers and Head Coach Nick Veliades have now been selected onto the Australian team.  A great effort by coaches and swimmers alike!
 
Gymnastics triumph
MLC Gymnastics competed in the Victorian Championships in Geelong over the break. Our team won the ‘Gymnastics Team Spectacular’, and chose to donate the $500 prize to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

Eight athletes were selected onto the Victorian Team along with six coaches who were selected as team managers, coaches, chaperones and judges. Congratulations on the fantastic results!
