Now in its ninth year, the Twilight Market will once again be held at MLC on Friday, 23 November 2018 from 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

Open to the public, it is the perfect opportunity to start your Christmas shopping or simply spoil yourself a little whilst supporting local artists and creators!

The market was conceived as an interactive acquisitive exhibition showcasing a broad range of creative local Melbourne talent and celebrating hand-made crafts.

Featuring over 50 stalls, products include textiles, jewellery, homewares, candles, body care, children’s toys and fabulous food products such as preserves, baked goods and gingerbread houses. Younger members of the family will also be kept busy with activities such as flower crown making, face painting and a snowman selfie-booth.

Stall holders include The Jewellery Tree with products in sterling silver, gold and rose gold; Simple Retreat handmade soy candles, GJ Design’s merino and cashmere scarves, and 1964thelabel leather bags and clutches – plus much more!

“MLC Makers Market is a much-loved community event that supports local artisan stalls,” says Sue Horacek, Art staff member and Friends of Art Committee member.
“Timed at the end of the year and before the holidays, it’s an ideal opportunity to find meaningful and unique gifts. Come along with family and friends to enjoy superb music, food and activities for young and old.”

What a great chance to catch up with friends and family at this fabulous event with plenty of food on offer, including wood fired pizza, cannoli coffee and a fabulous sausage sizzle, plus musical entertainment adding to the festive atmosphere!
