MLC has a proud, long-standing association with the School of St Jude in Tanzania. With the 2019 tour departing soon, this is the perfect opportunity to not only donate to such a worthy cause, but also get hold of an exclusive experience!

We have a private tour of Channel 9's "The Block" five renovated Victorian terraces for a group of ten - perfect for two families over the school holidays! This tour will be taken by The Block's Production Manager and you will be able to explore the properties before they are viewable to the public. This season is truly the biggest renovation The Block has seen yet!

Experience cost is $1,000. Please email MLC Service Learning Coordinator Sue Heffernan (heffersp@mlc.vic.edu.au) to purchase. Only one package is available.

Package details:
The tour will run for 90 minutes. Channel 9 have blocked out times for private tours over September and October 2019, and the recipient of this package can arrange a mutually suitable date and time for your group (weekdays only).

Site address is 38 Grey Street, St Kilda.

Please note:
  • Contestants may not be in attendance during this Tour.
  • Payment must be made within a week of claiming the package
  • This payment is not tax-deductible

About St Jude's:
St Jude's provides a free, high-quality education to 1,800 of Tanzania's most disadvantaged primary and secondary aged children, and has a program to also support its graduates through higher education. St Jude's graduates, supported by the school, are also teaching over 10,000 government school students each year.

Every single one of their students was chosen because they combined academic promise with a desperately poor background and a great attitude to work.

Every year, Middle School students raise funds to give to St Jude's, and a group of students visit the school and spend time teaching, and learning from, the children.

To purchase, please email Sue Heffernan, MLC Service Learning Coordinator: heffersp@mlc.vic.edu.au.
