Congratulations to our combined F1 in Schools team, Entente, who recently flew to Singapore to compete at the World Finals! The team was made up of Year 9 students Ingrid, Katrine and Annabel, alongside three students from Haileybury.

Read about their journey in our previous article here.

Team Entente placed 12th, the highest result for a first-time team in competition history. In addition, they also finished with the 10th fastest car and were nominated for the Best Pit Display award.

At the World Finals, 50 teams from around the world were competing with only milliseconds being the difference between some teams.

It has been an amazing achievement to be one of the first MLC teams to ever compete in F1 in Schools, the world's largest STEM competition, to come first in the Victorian finals, win awards at Nationals, and then be selected to compete at the World Finals.

As Ingrid in Year 9 said, "It’s been great to finally look at our journey in retrospect – to realise that this opportunity, culminating in competing in Singapore, would not have been possible without the support of our teachers, sponsors and the MLC community. Thank you so much!"
