Even though your school routine may look different this term, it is essential to stay active and keep exercising for a healthy body and mind. It is especially important to take breaks and move after you have been sitting at your desk in front of your computer for an extended period of time.

This week's Boarding House Active Session is Yoga, but you don't have to be a Boarder to join in! There are lots of great resources available on Youtube, and today's workout is from the Youtube channel 'Yoga with Adriene'. It runs for around 23 minutes and is the perfect post-school stretching activity. Yoga is great because it is low impact and very gentle on the body, but requires a very strong core.

 

What will you need?

  • comfortable clothes
  • a towel or yoga mat.
  • Clear space in which to participate
 
So feel free to complete it in your own time.
