This week a crowd gathered in Star Plaza at lunchtime to witness our amazing team participating in the World's Greatest Shave!

As reported earlier this month, the shave was dedicated to the memory of Year 9 student Renee, who we sadly lost to cancer earlier this year. The team's aim was to raise $14,000 (representing Renee's 14 years of age) but have managed to raise over $16,000 - a tremendous effort, with funds raised towards the Leukaemia Foundation. The girls' hair was also carefully cut so it could be donated for wigs.

Participant Nyla, Year 11, often helps her mum create beanies for prenatal babies. This time, they will be creating beanies for all of the team.

Well done to all who volunteered, helped organise, and donated! There is still opportunity to donate, visit here: https://secure.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/registrant/TeamFundraisingPage.aspx?TeamID=109994

Thank you also to our hairdressers from Rhodes Hair & Spa and Mecca Hair Design for your services on the day!
