What an MLC scholarship has meant to me

eva.JPG

The night I found out I had been awarded a scholarship to attend MLC, it felt like the whole world and future expanded.

Almost eight years on from school, I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and Bachelor of Economics, have worked or studied on four different continents, and am currently a policy analyst at the Commonwealth Treasury.

I carry a bone-deep gratitude to MLC, and to the benefactors who put me there, for gifting me an appreciation of our responsibility to the broader community, a sense of how vast the opportunities in life are, and the encouragement and confidence to jump in and make the most of those opportunities.

I will always be incredibly thankful for the generosity of strangers that placed me on a path so abundantly filled with opportunity. Thank you, so much.
