Congratulations to the MLC Aquatic swimmers and coaches for their fantastic achievements at the 2018 Australian Age National Championships!

 

 

Our 27 swimmers, 3 coaches and 2 team managers recently travelled to Sydney for the 6 day competition at the Sydney Olympic Park, held between Thursday 19 to Friday 27 April.

Over 50% of the individual swims and relays resulted in a top 10 national result, more than double last year's results, with the medal tally at 12 (3 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze).

 MLC students to make finals include Molly Freeman year 10, Phoebe Ricker year 11, and Samantha Schlicht year 11, with Sammy winning 2 silver medals in the 100m and 200m Backstroke and Phoebe winning a silver medal in the 100m Breaststroke.

A record performance, well done to all!
