Updated 4 April 2019.
School Holiday PEC Access:
Due to bluestone paving works, there will be no access through the northern part of Grove Avenue over the school holidays, from Saturday, 6 April until Monday, 22 April. Users of the Physical Education Centre (PEC) over this period will need to enter via Fitzwilliam St, as there will be no access the PEC from the Chapel carpark off Barkers Rd.
Please also note to enter the PEC through level 2 during the holidays; there will be signage marking the entrance.
Our pathways will reopen at the commencement of Term 2, with access returning to how it currently has been during Term 1.
See a map of this temporary school holiday access below.
Please also note that the back four car spaces in the eastern (right hand) corner near the new sub-station will also be cornered off to make room for the relocation of the builder’s site sheds, which will be there for the duration of Term 2.
We are now commencing the project of resurfacing the entirety of our Oval, as part of the Year 7-8 Learning Centre development. It will be very exciting for all students to be able to use the newly surfaced space, which will include 9 tennis courts and will provide for a range of sports including soccer, netball and hockey.
Due to the resurfacing, the oval will be inaccessible now until the work is completed at the end of Term 2. Access to the PEC for secondary students and from Fitzwilliam St remains unchanged.
Those going to the PEC from Junior School or the Chapel Car Park will need to walk across the front of the car park and north up Grove Avenue, via the Principal's Terrace Garden. Please see the map below, which marks out the route for Junior School.
Access to the PEC for secondary students and those coming from Fitzwilliam St remains unchanged.
