Strength in Mentoring, Strength in Community
“An incredibly rewarding experience, and being part of a program that helps support the future women leaders is such a joy.”
The 2026 Mentoring Program began, as it does each year, with a lively networking event where Old Collegians connected over school memories and discovered unexpected common ground. With her trademark energy, facilitator and Old Collegian Angela Andrews (1991), welcomed each alumna into the program and created the opportunity for participants to find their mentoring match.
What makes the program remarkable is its intergenerational and career breadth. Among this year’s cohort, spanning the Class of 1978 to 2020, are lawyers and business professionals, marketers and content creators, scientists and engineers, IT specialists, entrepreneurs, designers and a pilot. These are women who have lived, or aspire to live, widely and generously. Each brings a unique perspective, and each gains something meaningful in return.
Participants consistently describe the program as personally and professionally fulfilling: a chance to learn, to be challenged and to feel supported by the strength of the MLC alumnae community.
