Val Kerr Fellowship Grant

Supporting An Old Collegian who Leads with Purpose

The OId Collegians' Club is honoured to announce the recipient of the 2025 Old Collegians’ Club Val Kerr Fellowship Grant – Naomi Brockenshire (1999).

Naomi is a researcher, working in the field of the treatment of young people (mostly girls) with anorexia, in particular, those who have required a nasal gastric tube for feeding purposes. The Val Kerr Grant will allow the research project, first commenced with a grant from the Victorian Nurses and Midwives Trust, to continue, and contribute to creating best practice guidelines for treatment of anorexia patients in acute care settings.

We extend our thanks to the Old Collegians’ Club and the selection panel for their dedication to this program. Through their support, Old Collegians are empowered to pursue their passions, lead with purpose and make a meaningful difference.
