As we approach the end of the year, I find myself reflecting on the many wonderful events we've held and the connections we've made throughout 2025. It has been a truly rewarding year, seeing so many faces at our gatherings, both new and familiar. This year, we are especially delighted to welcome the Class of 2025 into the OC network as they celebrate their graduation from MLC and begin their journey as Old Collegians. The support and energy from our vibrant community continue to make the MLC Old Collegian network such a special and dynamic part of our lives.
Looking ahead to 2026, there are exciting opportunities to further strengthen our community. We are actively seeking new members of the OCC Council who are passionate about enriching the MLC alumnae experience and want to get involved in shaping our events and initiatives. Whether it’s helping to organise signature events like International Women’s Day, contributing to our broader programs like the Val Kerr Fellowship Grant, or engaging with our active community through our communication channels, there are many ways to be involved. You may also like to consider supporting the MLC Mentoring Program, an impactful way to connect with fellow Old Collegians.
We would love to hear your ideas and explore how we can bring them to life. Now is your opportunity to make a meaningful contribution and see your vision come to fruition. If you’re interested in joining our committee, sharing your creative ideas, or learning more about how the MLC community continues to evolve, we invite you to apply to become an OCC Council member (link to apply is below). Together, we can continue to grow and inspire the MLC alumnae network for many years to come.
Wishing you all a joyful and restful holiday season, and I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together in the year ahead!
