Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 is a year unlike any other. Our students and staff have had to rapidly transition from onsite learning to learning from home, and many MLC families have also been adversely affected financially by the pandemic.

For this reason, we are not conducting our usual Annual Giving program this year.

The College has made some major decisions around expenditure in 2020, including the suspension of most capital works. It has established measures to support families, such as fee reduction in June for all students, and other financial assistance as needed.

We invite all members of the MLC community to consider making a special gift this year, as they are able, in support of our students and families:

Emergency fee relief for families affected by the Covid-19 pandemic

(note: these gifts are non tax-deductible, as per ATO guidelines)

Means-tested Scholarships:

Principal's Scholarships

Principal's Indigenous Scholarships

Dr Wood Scholarship*

* In honour of MLC’s former Principal, Dr Wood, it supports students of fine character with a concern for others, a readiness to participate in school life, a broad range of interests and talents and both leadership and academic ability.

Thank you for your kind support of MLC students and families this year — all gifts, whatever the size, will have a positive impact.
