The Gala Ball is open to the wider MLC community, including current and past parents, Old Collegians, staff and friends of the College. Partners and guests are very welcome.
Not at all! Tickets can be purchased individually, as a couple, in smaller groups or as a full table of 10.
You don't need to have a table organised to attend. We'll do our best to accommodate seating preferences and bring guests together with others from the MLC community.
During checkout, you'll be asked "Have you already organised a group of 10 to sit together?"
If you have a confirmed group of 10, select "Yes". You'll be asked to nominate your Table Captain (the person coordinating your group). Everyone in your group should nominate the same Table Captain, even if purchasing tickets separately.
If you have fewer than 10 people organised, select "No". You can still request to sit with friends! For example, if you're attending with two other couples, simply list their names in the seating preferences section during checkout.
We'll do our best to accommodate seating requests, but seating together can only be guaranteed when purchasing a full table of 10.
Purchasing a full table guarantees your group will be seated together.
You don't need to provide the names of everyone attending when you book. We'll contact you closer to the event to collect your guests' names and dietary requirements.
Please note that full-table bookings are purchased as a package, so partial refunds are not available. See our refund policy below.
You're very welcome to come along! The Gala Ball is a wonderful opportunity to meet other members of the MLC community.
During checkout, you can nominate the MLC community group you'd prefer to sit with, and we'll do our best to seat you with guests who share a connection.
Your ticket includes an evening of dining, live entertainment and dancing at CENTREPIECE, Melbourne Park.

VIP Tables are $3,000 for 10 guests, with limited availability.
Early Bird tickets are available for $199 per person until Wednesday 2 December 2026, or until the limited allocation sells out.
Standard tickets will then only be available for $245 per person.
Yes. We'll collect dietary requirements closer to the event as part of our guest information process.
We understand plans can change and will do our best to accommodate guests who are no longer able to attend.
Refunds are not available for change of mind. However, requests due to unforeseen personal circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to parents@mlc.vic.edu.au by 5pm on Monday 5 April 2027.
For table bookings, including VIP Tables, refunds can only be considered for the entire table, as tables are purchased as a package of 10 tickets. Partial refunds are not available.
If someone in your group can no longer attend, you're welcome to arrange for another guest to take their place.
