In the last week of the 2018 school year, our Year 7s and 8s enjoyed STEAM Week, after a very successful initial run in 2017.

Each year level completed their own task and challenges:

  • Our Year 7s enjoyed a group collaboration project (over 200 students!) to design and build a 1:200 scale city made up of precincts: CBD, residential, industrial, education/medical and cultural. Each board needed to include Arduino circuits.

  • Our Year 8s each chose a mini-project to work on collaboratively in order to complete a set challenge, resulting in a product or artefact to present and display alongside a design brief. From drones to Virtual Reality, arcade games to robotics!
