On Tuesday, 28 November, our Year 11s had their Fit4Twelve Day. This program assists in their preparation for Year 12 by focusing on important aspects of diet, exercise and sleep. The day is always well-received, and is followed by a 'part 2' when the year level begins Year 12 in 2018.

MLC was delighted to welcome guest speakers Dr Stephanie Centofanti from the University of South Australia, talking about the importance of sleep and Michele Chevalley Hedge with 'Power of Nutrition'.

Along with guest speakers and a session on study skills, the cohort could choose a physical activity to partake in. Yoga and tai chi on the lawn, Zumba, dance mob or Fast 'n' Furious - there were plenty of smiles and some great lessons learnt in preparation for their final year!
