In both MLC Junior School and MLC Kindle, the curriculum has been designed to provide outstanding educational opportunities that help every student reach her potential.

In Junior School we treat literacy and numeracy as high priority learning areas, knowing that the skills and concepts developed during classroom programs underpin learning across the whole curriculum. For extra support, we have a Literacy Co-ordinator as well as Mathematics Support specialists, to help with your daughter's learning requirements if required.

MLC’s Junior School offers a range of specialist programs – art, physical education (including gymnastics, athletics and aquatics), music, language study (Japanese in Prep to Year 4 and French in Years 5 and 6), library lessons, religious education and technology.

The MLC Kindle program combines a caring environment and MLC’s renowned educational expertise. MLC Kindle’s family-centred approach provides opportunities for children of similar ages to grow and learn together. MLC Kindle use aspects of the Reggio Emilia philosophy in its approach to teaching and caring for young children, who enjoy play-based learning as well as opportunities such as music, Japanese, gymnastics and computer skills.

2014 was the year MLC’s current Principal, Diana Vernon, took up her post.
