Activities available to the public include:
MLC offers both MLC and non-MLC students the opportunity to undertake swimming lessons (boys and girls, from three years of age). Lessons are held at the Physical Education Centre Swimming Pool located at MLC.
Once participants either complete all the levels of the Learn to Swim program or come from another swim program, they can then join either the non-competitive swim squad program or the competitive swim program, which caters for swimmers aged seven years to 22 years.
In order for swimmers to compete in Swimming Victoria and Swimming Australia events, they are required to be members of a registered swim club. MLC Aquatic was formed in 1994 to enable squad swimmers to compete in these events. MLC Aquatic comprises a volunteer body of both MLC and non-MLC parents who work closely with MLC Squad staff to provide the best outcomes for swimmers.
