Updated 18 August, 2017.
MLC's new 7/8 Learning Centre will be constructed during the course of 2018, however initial works to enable this exciting new project will begin with the relocation of our substation. The project management team have worked closely with the builder to keep disruption to a minimum.
Works will be commencing on Monday, 21 August 2017 and expected to be completed by end of the year.
The construction zone will mean the loss of approximately 8-9 car parking spaces and a section of the Junior School outdoor space will be fenced off for the safety of students.
Traffic flow through the carpark will be as normal, with our regular traffic management in place at peak times, starting from 6.45 am on weekdays.
Access between Junior School and secondary school campus:
The pedestrian access path located alongside the oval between the Junior School and the secondary school campus will be closed, with access only possible along the current path opposite the Red Administration Building and Chapel.
September School Holidays:
Major disruption with the relocation of the substation will be completed during the September school holidays, in order to minimise inconvenience. There is expected to be traffic and carparking changes during this period, to be updated here as information becomes available.
