The MLC Information Technology faculty offers innovative programs that cater for a range of interests and abilities. These include a Middle School unit where web design is introduced. Students can then extend their programming skills by developing rich interactive animations or online games.

Our IT offerings in Senior School include two VET Certificate III courses. The Certificate III in Information Technology (Software Applications) enables students to become proficient users and developers in Word, Excel and Access, combined with skills in end-user support, plus hardware and software installation. The Certificate III in Multimedia builds skills in multimedia web design and development. This includes extensive work in the Flash development environment – both using traditional animation techniques and advanced ActionScript programming skills. International Baccalaureate Information Technology in a Global Society is also available for Senior School students.
