German is one of the world's leading languages for commerce, trade, tourism, science and international relations, and opens the door to a rich literary, artistic and musical tradition.

At MLC, we focus on acquiring German linguistic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, and cultural knowledge in inspiring and enjoyable ways. All language learning involves dedicated and consistent study and, at MLC, our students benefit from a communicative approach to language learning, where we teach students largely in German. They can also take part in statewide poetry competitions, exchanges and a tour to Germany. MLC students enjoy working with CD Rom programs, video series and benefit from watching live performances from time to time.
