Welcome to the Middle School community where students are always on the go, experiencing exciting academic, co-curricular and community activities meshed in a holistic learning framework. 

It's a time to form lasting friendships, develop self-awareness, consolidate learning ready for Senior School, develop an appreciation for diversity and internationalism, and undergo the fun and challenges of the life-changing MLC Marshmead Term. 

Involvement, empowerment, discovery and independence are key themes in Middle School. We encourage students to explore their potential, try new things, take responsibility for their learning, care for themselves and each other, and take constructive risks. Our wide range of special interest electives such as Recreation for Life, IT Fundamentals, Sport Performance and Coaching, French Patisserie, Drama, Ceramics and many more, inspire and motivate students to develop their passions and experience learning to the full. 

In Year 9 and 10 we also emphasise community and participation. Every student is encouraged to share in the fun of organising and taking part in a host of House activities, Sport carnivals, Music and Drama performances, SRC and our innovative Contribution to the Community program, where students confront social issues through practical community situations.
