MLC's Junior School is a vibrant, caring community where students learn, laugh, play and explore the world around them. It's a welcoming environment full of colourful, interesting spaces where friendships can flourish and personalities develop. Our renowned pastoral care program helps each student develop confidence, feel part of their class group and their school, and grow into happy, enthusiastic learners.

We have designed an integrated curriculum which stimulates creativity and curiosity and builds a sound foundation in literacy, numeracy and cognitive skills. From Year 5, every student has her own notebook computer and each subject incorporates technology in a way that enhances our students' learning and understanding.

In Junior School, we also encourage students to jump into the exciting realm of imagination through learning options such as Fine Arts, Drama and Music. We offer individual tuition in a wide range of instruments and there are lots of opportunities for students to experience the fun and challenge of being part of a performance group from an early age.
