Dr Wood Scholarship for students entering Year 9 or 10 in 2009
(Gift of the MLC Old Collegians’ Club)

The Dr Wood Scholarship will be open to students in Year 8 or 9 in 2008 who attend MLC or another school. Applicants for the Dr Wood Scholarship must have a direct family connection to an Old Collegian of MLC in Victoria. Students are required to sit the ACER Scholarship test on Saturday, 10 May 2008.

The Dr Wood Scholarship recognises a student of fine character who has demonstrated:

1. A concern for the broader community
2. A wide range of interests and talents
3. A readiness to participate in the full life of her school
4. Leadership ability
5. Commitment to her academic program
6. Academic ability

The Dr Wood Scholarship provides half ordinary tuition fees and is tenable for four years.

Applicants for the Dr Wood Scholarship must have a direct family connection to a past student of MLC in Victoria.

Scholarship Application Requirements

Registration for scholarships close on Friday, 11 April 2008. Registrations received after this date will incur an additional late fee of $100.

All applicants must complete the ACER Registration form and pay the Registration fee of $85.00. Please also complete the MLC Dr Wood Application form and return to MLC. No additional supporting documentation is required at this time. If the candidate is shortlisted for an interview you will be asked to provide her latest school report.
