MLC is committed to providing a wide range of learning opportunities across all areas of the curriculum and to nurturing individual student's talents and interests. As part of this commitment, the College offers a large number of Academic and Music/Academic Scholarships for students with special talents. 

The scholarship program for entry in 2010 is complete. Applications for 2011 entry will be accepted from February 2010.

MLC participates in the ACER Co-operative Scholarship Testing Program. 

Parents of students intending to compete for scholarships must apply to all the schools for which their children are to be candidates.  Candidates sit the testing at their first preference school.

Once all scholarships have been finalised, all candidates will be sent a report on the academic testing and the names of the scholarship recipients will be published in The Age (Year 7 only) and College newsletters. 

All scholarships are awarded on the basis of the results of the scholarship exam, school reports and an interview.
