This includes opportunities to rehearse and perform in the College’s state-of-the-art Music School and to participate, upon invitation, in wider community events. At all levels, students can take extra-curricular private lessons, and be involved in MLC's wide-ranging co-curricular ensembles.

Private music tuition is available to all students through the MLC Music School. A comprehensive offering of instrumental (strings, woodwind, brass, guitar, keyboard, harp and percussion), vocal and music theory tuition is delivered by a team of specialist music professionals.
Music/Academic scholarships are also available. The Music Department is supported in its activities by the Friends of Music, a sub-committee of the MLC Parents’ Association.
