It is certainly an exciting time to be at MLC.
The development of various areas of the campus, including the construction of a brand new 7/8 Learning Centre, redevelopment of the Principal's Terrace garden and resurfacing of the oval, ensures that we provide our students with the tools and facilities for dynamic 21st Century learning.
We will be updating these pages with the latest information as it becomes available, including the progress of works and any changes that may impact our community.
We are also pleased to finally advise that, following a rigorous tender process, McCorkell Constructions were appointed as the builder for the Years 7-8 Learning Centre. McCorkell Constructions have 90 years’ experience in commercial projects, including an extensive history working with schools and universities, many in live operating environments.
McCorkell have recently completed the construction of MLC’s new substation, which they delivered very efficiently and with great consideration to the requirements of the College.
We are also working with McCorkell to create student engagement through structured activities associated with the new development, a great opportunity to learn in a very different context!
